I married a girl from Waukesha, attending the college in my hometown of Bowling Green, KY, in 1982.  We moved here to raise our family a couple of years later after I found a job in a local food ingredient processing plant.  I worked there for 27 years until health issues forced me into early retirement.  

My interest in the Buddhist path to end suffering led me to attend Refuge Recovery meetings held at RIM about ten years ago, where I was welcomed to sit, learn, and meditate with this group. I also participated in RIM Drop-ins guided by Jesse and others.
