RIM's Annual Gathering

This year’s annual Sangha celebration and fundraiser was especially joyful as we celebrated Jesse’s 50th birthday—a wonderful chance to honor RIM’s Founder and dear friend. We sat together, shared a delicious meal, and took time to contemplate mutual community support.

How does the RIM Sangha support me? How am I inspired to support the Sangha?

We've encapsulated our heartfelt responses that reflect why the RIM community is a refuge for meaningful practice and a place where good friends walk the path together.

How Does the RIM Sangha Support Me?

We feel a strong sense of community and build authentic relationships. RIM is like a supportive family: safe, caring, welcoming, and accepting.
Dharma teachings ground and challenge us to live mindfully.
RIM is a safe space to share our meditation and mindful living experience, helping us process emotions and foster healing!
The resources and activities at RIM enrich our practice and provide continual support. RIM is a foundation for our practice, and we learn from each other.
Emotional support is a cornerstone of the RIM Sangha, offering us hope, compassion, and a sense of peace, especially during challenging times.

 How Am I Inspired to Support the Sangha?

We contribute to RIM through our mindful presence and active participation in programs and special events.
We offer Dāna through financial support and volunteerism at RIM.
When we facilitate Dharma activities or meditation sessions, we contribute to the overall expansion of our Dharma practice.
As members, we grow personally through our practice and are inspired to give back to the Sangha. We embody authenticity, compassion, and mindfulness. We work together to enhance our collective wellbeing.
We share our talents, creativity, and innovative ideas to enhance the Sangha's vitality.
We provide emotional and moral support to each other by being compassionate, honest, and present. We engender a warm and inclusive community dedicated to meditation, mindful living, and personal transformation.
Together, we cultivate inner peace, foster compassion, and co-create a healthier, more harmonious world.
