Voices Winter 2025 Edition: The Art of WellBeing

In 1967, Lennon and McCartney captured the essence of shared wellbeing when they sang, "I get by with a little help from my friends." As Dharma friends, we embody this sentiment by supporting one another and offering the gifts of our learning and practice to uplift those around us.

In this edition of Voices, we honor RIM friends who walk alongside others on life's journey, sharing their unique ways of fostering wellbeing. These generous contributions spread wellness and joy. As Jesse Foy beautifully reminded us in his Thanksgiving message, "In their happiness… we find our own."

One such friend is Annie Repaci, who works with patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries. By integrating Dharma principles into her therapeutic care, she profoundly supports her patients and their families and realizes a deep sense of wellbeing for herself.

Pat Jensen and Eldon Swenson practice healing touch and have applied energy healing to help countless individuals achieve wellbeing in difficult circumstances. Their shared intentions brought them together and guided them to the RIM Sangha, where their practice and presence inspire others.

Art inspires, and the Dharma awakens! Cindy Shicotte brings these two sources of beauty together through her Dharma jewelry, sharing her creativity with others on the path. A childhood love for stones and gems blossomed into a way to inspire and connect with others, especially when she began creating Dharma jewelry for members of RIM.

Sangha supports Sangha in so many meaningful ways, and our annual gathering is always a wonderful reflection of the care we share within our community. RIM thrives through the energy we bring as we come together to nurture our Sangha's wellbeing. Be sure to read the comments from RIM members on how RIM supports our shared practice.

May you find happiness, peace, and wellbeing as we begin another year together.
